At Unika302 LLC, we understand that travel plans can change, and we are committed to providing a flexible refund policy for our customers. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds for Japan Rail Pass Exchange Orders purchased through our website are processed.

General Refund Conditions:

Eligibility for Refund:

Refunds are available for Exchange Orders that have not been exchanged for a Japan Rail Pass.

The Exchange Order must not be lost or stolen.

A refund request must be made within one year of the issue date of the Exchange Order.

Refund Amount:

JapanRailsPass will refund the Exchange Order at 80% of the ticket value.

Cancellation Protection:

With Cancellation Protection:

Customers who have purchased Cancellation Protection will receive a 100% refund of the unused ticket price upon request.

Cancellation Protection itself is non-refundable.

Conditions for Dispatched Orders:

If orders have not been dispatched, the unused Exchange Orders must be returned to JapanRailsPass before any refund is processed.

Non-Refundable Situations:

Rail passes that have been activated in Japan or partially used are not eligible for a refund.

Postage or any other booking fees are non-refundable.

Damaged or Incorrectly Supplied Items:

Faulty Items: If an item is found to be damaged or faulty as a result of our error, we will offer a replacement or a full refund, including postage costs.

Incorrect Orders: For items incorrectly supplied or mistakes in fulfilling your order, a full refund (including postage costs) will be provided.

Return Requirements: Items must be returned with a copy of the delivery note or receipt.

Deductions and Delivery Costs:

In cases of change of mind, we may reduce your refund to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods caused by handling them beyond what is necessary.

The maximum refund for delivery costs will be based on our least expensive delivery method.

Return Instructions:

Items should be returned in their original packaging.

Contact us before returning any item. Unannounced returns may be refused.

Items remain your responsibility until received by us. We recommend using a secure delivery method.

Conditions above must be met for JapanRailsPass to process the refund.

Processing Time and Delays:

Please allow up to 14 days (in addition to the delivery time) for the return and refund to be processed.

In case of delays caused by events outside our control, we will contact you to minimize the effect of the delay.

Final Note:
Refunds are subject to the discretion of JapanRailsPass. Returns not adhering to this policy may incur a charge proportionate to the costs of processing.
